CATS, SPIDERS AND FUNNY HATS

INGLEWOOD HOUSE

WEDNESDAY, 15TH OCTOBER, 2025

Hillfoots Tales was delighted to share some spooky tales with a sell-out audience.

Inglewood House was the setting for our event, which also featured a delicious buffet.

As well as hosting the event, Eleanor told the first story of the evening, about “Mr Fox”.  It was a truly gruesome start!

Gail told a ghost story from Japan, “The Legend of Oiwa’s Ghost”, which was  set in the 17th century.

Taking us to the interval, Mary related a ghost story from Edinburgh, “Johnny One-Arm”.

The forth tale of the evening was from Cath, who shared a local ghost story, “Tait’s Tomb”.  Tait’s Tomb is, of course, still standing between Tillicoultry and Dollar.

The penultimate offering of the evening was another local story, “The Silver Glen”, told by Jo, who had us all on the edge of our seats.

And finally, Tania told the supernatural tale, “The Laird of Littledean”.
