STORYTELLING SESSION
August 30, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Our most recent session had the subject of “Games”.
We began by playing a storytelling game, where we each chose three word cards from the table and used them to concoct part of a story, with everyone present taking part. Lots of fun was had and a very interesting story was put together, containing witches, kings, queens, princes, swans, frogs and all kinds of weather and locations. Not sure it would win any prizes but it was hilarious nonetheless.
We didn’t have as much time to hear as many stories as usual, due to our own game, but we did hear a narrative poem about playing Monopoly, ” Old Kent Road”, another poignant poem about coercive control, “The Game”, and the Irish legend, “How Cu-Chulainn Got His Name”.
